The best part about this restaurant is the food. The service is good, ambience is decent, as expected for the price point. The worst is the reservation system. The entire management needs a refresher course in hospitality. Possibly, as strategy, to make their restaurant look desirable, they run a fraudulent campaign on trying to be busy. They do have a process of reservation. However, I tried booking roughly a week in advance for a special occasion. They did take our booking for 5 people for Friday evening at 7:30 pm - 7:45 pm On Fridays, they have only two slots, 7:30 pm and 9:45 pm; again, quite the strategy to appear busy and appealing. They sent a text reconfirming the same booking at about 2:30 pm in the afternoon. They again called around 6 pm to re-confirm the same booking. Makes you believe that you’re going to the highest foot fall restaurant in all of Delhi, doesn’t it ? We informed them in advance that we’ll be late and arrive around 7:50 pm. We even sent a text while we were on the way. While entering the restaurant, we were told that we were late and need to vacate the table by 9:30 pm for the next group. Very well, however, no slot was given during the booking process. Now, coming to the precise fraud being played here. All this is done to make you believe that you’re getting a luxury experience reserved for the select few. However, the management fails to understand that the fundamentals of any luxury experience are honesty and integrity. Only a 7:30 pm slot for booking, repeated texts and calls to re-confirm the booking and the arrival time. Knowing the precise arrival time and then asking for guest to leave in 2 hours even before the guest enters the restaurant for what exactly you might ask ? A total of 21 vacant tables when we walked in 21 empty tables at 8 pm on a Friday night. Is the sign of a busy restaurant ? And when we left, around 9:20 pm, there were a total of 19 vacant tables. Why do you even need a reservation / waiting system when 3/4th of your restaurant is empty ? Goes on to show you the sham of a reservation system that they’re running. Food was good, service prompt, however their staff does not ask before leaving a “voluntary” staff welfare charge. The did bring out a complementary slice of a cake for the special occasion we were celebrating. Overall, avoidable for the unnecessary attitude and unethical behavior. Only if their attitude was as good as the food.. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Dimsums. Drinks. Desserts. If that sounds like your kind of date, Royal China is where you need to be. From juicy prawn & black pepper dumplings to melt-in-your-mouth chicken wontons in spicy sauce, every bite here makes you feel like royalty. The autumn cocktails — Solar Flare & Tropic Spritz — are flavour symphonies in a glass. And the showstoppers? Chicken Shanghai soup dumplings, crispy prawn cheung fun, duck spring rolls, and those pillowy Char Sui pork baos. Pure bliss. We ended on the sweetest note — a dreamy tiramisu & the indulgent Pull Me Up Chocolate Cake, with all the drama and decadence you could ask for. Dimsum & dessert dates don’t get more regal than this.
