Rooh was average overall. The food was mid, and the service didn’t really stand out—the waiter was barely around most of the time, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. The chicken tacos were okay, nothing memorable. That said, it’s a decent option if you’re on a cutting diet, as the food feels relatively light and controlled. Giving a two star rating only for the ambiance. I understand places like this charge a premium for their location, and one wouldn’t mind paying that if the food & drinks lived up to the level at least. Sadly, everything we ordered was subpar. Rooh calls itself modern Indian, but the limited menu offered regular dishes like butter chicken & biryani — and surprisingly, they couldn't even get these basics right. My cocktail tasted more like a lemony mocktail, and portions were extremely small for the hefty bill we paid. Most restaurants & bars in the area seemed to be in a similar state and nearly empty on a Saturday night - after this experience, it’s easy to understand why.
