U have to wait for an hour for your order. Very pathetic and slow service. When asked they say we have telephonic orders so preparing their food. Always got disappointed when it comes to timely delivery of food. Also UPI is not accepted if order is less than 500. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Service: 1

I recently ordered takeout from Hotel Rising's restaurant and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. While there were both positive and negative aspects, it was an overall decent experience. Starting with the pricing, it's clear that Hotel Rising leans towards the higher side. The Chinese noodles and rice dishes seemed a bit overpriced, especially when compared to similar offerings at Ming Yang restaurant. On a brighter note, the lollipop was reasonably priced and provided good value. However, it's worth noting that they charge 25 rupees for a bottle of water, which seems excessive given that it typically costs 10-15 rupees. For my takeout order, I opted for the Chicken Chilly Rice and Lollipop. I was pleased to find that the rice didn't contain ajinomoto, which is a plus. However, the taste of the Chicken Chilly Rice was rather average, not living up to my expectations. The lollipop, on the other hand, delivered a satisfying and enjoyable flavor. The side of fried noodles that accompanied the soup was a disappointment, as they lacked the crunchiness I was hoping for. The soup itself fell somewhere in the middle in terms of taste – not exceptional but not terrible either. When it comes to service, my takeout experience was a bit of a mixed bag. I had to wait for more than 20 minutes to receive my order, which felt slightly lengthy even considering the moderate crowd. It's understandable that takeout times might vary, but this did affect my overall impression. Additionally, it's surprising that a restaurant of this size and stature does not offer card payment options. This inconvenience was a bit frustrating and left a somewhat negative impression. In summary, my takeout experience from Hotel Rising's restaurant had its highs and lows. While the dishes were a bit hit-and-miss in terms of taste and the pricing seemed steep for some items, there were definitely enjoyable aspects like the lollipop. However, the excessive charge for water and the lack of card payment options were notable downsides. If they could address the taste of certain dishes and work on improving the efficiency of their takeout service, along with addressing these additional concerns, it could make for a more consistent and satisfying experience.
