We are charged at the gate even thought we have booked table in advance. This is soo disappointing and total scam. I request zomato and district too look into this and remove them from your respected app.

I recently visited Rio Kitchen and Bar because of their loud claims of a “flat 50% off” on the bill. Let me tell you – it’s nothing but a scam. They double the menu prices beforehand and then slap on that 50% off, so you end up paying exactly what you would at any other restaurant. It’s a total scam that they’re using to fool customers. Despite the place being house full, the service was absolutely pathetic. We had to wait 20-30 minutes just to get someone’s attention to place an order. With a full house, you’d think they’d have enough staff, but apparently not. The worst part? The prices are a complete rip-off. They charged ₹750 for a Breezer – something you’d get at any decent bar for ₹150-₹250 at most. It’s outrageous and downright insulting to customers. And if that wasn’t enough, our total bill came to a shocking ₹19,000! Honestly, we didn’t even eat or drink that much to justify such a huge bill, but they still had the audacity to apply their fake “50% off” to it. If you’re thinking you’re getting a “deal,” think again – you’re just paying for the same overpriced drinks and food under the guise of a discount. The food itself was just average, nothing special, and definitely not worth the crazy prices they’ve jacked up. For the same money, you’d have a much better time at Akasa or Spice Factory in Hinjewadi. At least they’re honest about their pricing and don’t play these manipulative games. To sum it up, Rio Kitchen and Bar is all marketing and zero substance. The fake discounts, the long wait for service even when it’s full, the absurd prices for basic drinks like Breezers, and the shocking ₹19,000 bill for such a basic meal make this place a complete waste of time and money. Don’t be fooled by the hype – there are plenty of other places where you’ll actually get good service and fair pricing. Avoid this place if you value your money and your dining experience!
