During my stay in Nashik I was craving some specialty coffee and we decided to hit Ricardo for it. It was late afternoon, yet the place was pretty crowded with patrons ranging from college going youngsters to working professionals. We had a kaapi, iced americano and an iced coffee a la carte. While the kaapi, along with my coffee craving left many things to be desired, the establishment is well maintained with a lot of ease of use and the staff (upon whatever interaction we had with them) seemed approachable and helpful. Its not up there with the likes of Third Wave or Blue Tokai when it comes to specialty coffee but its nonetheless a good coffee and a hangout place. Ricardo is a new café in town, right in the heart of the city, with a stylish and inviting atmosphere. They offer a limited but attractive menu with a range of coffee options, all at affordable prices. We tried the Vietnamese iced coffee, which was excellent and definitely worth ordering. The cookies and muffins were fresh and really tempting, while the pizza pockets tasted similar to McDonald’s version. The sandwiches were also quite good. Overall, it’s a great spot for a date, hanging out with friends, or spending time with family. It’s quickly become my favorite place to go!
