We visited Almond Restaurant six times during our stay in Varkala with our family of 10, including three elderly members. Everyone in our family loved the food, which is why we kept coming back again and again. The food quality is excellent, and everything is prepared fresh. A special thanks to Raj and Rafik, who provided outstanding service throughout our visits. Both are very friendly and truly understand how to make customers feel welcome. They communicated well with the chefs and even helped arrange customized dishes based on our preferences and dietary needs. We were impressed not only by the delicious food but also by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. I am sure that once you dine here, you'll find it hard to try any other restaurant during your visit to Varkala. We ate here multiple times during our stay in Varkala, all because of our server Raj. He was so incredible, to the point where I even celebrated my birthday dinner here. From their fish in banana leaf to prawns to everything else, it was all really really delicious. The ambience is also lovely, facing the sea, absolutely loved our experience here. Had a wonderful lunch at Almond Restaurant during our Varkala trip. The ambience was beautiful, peaceful, and a refreshing change from the crowded North and South Cliff areas. We tried a variety of fish and chicken dishes, and every single one was excellent. Everything was freshly prepared, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. You can really tell they focus on quality. A special mention to Raj, who served us throughout our meal. He was incredibly courteous and suggested a few fish preparations based on our preferences—and every recommendation turned out to be spot on. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with delicious food and warm hospitality in Varkala, I highly recommend Almond Restaurant. Definitely worth a visit!
