Mosquito & Rice Weevil, No Apology: A Horrible Dining Experience at Relax Restaurant, Lajpat Nagar. I visited Relax Restaurant in Lajpat Nagar today (28th Sep 2024) and ordered the home-cooked food thali. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of disastrous. In the first bowl of rice, I discovered a Rice Weevil. I immediately informed the waiter, Mr. Deepak, who took the bowl to show the chef, but I wasn’t able to capture a photo. He replaced the rice with a new bowl, but to my disbelief, the second bowl contained a mosquito. Once again, the waiter removed the plate before I could take a picture. After finding Rice Weevil & mosquito in two separate bowls of rice, I decided to stop eating and leave the meal. Despite this, I was still charged the full amount for the thali. Even worse, there was no apology, no acknowledgment of the issue, and a complete lack of politeness from the staff and the manager (Reception person). I had to skip my lunch today, and I absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 1
