We had a very disappointing experience at this café. While walking by, a person at the gate called us in, saying it was a very good place. However, once we entered, we found very few customers and the place was not clean. The first table we sat at had insects falling from the ceiling, so we had to move to another one, where we noticed spider webs and spiders around. The food quality and taste were average and didn’t justify the comparatively high prices. When we enquired about a student discount, the staff said it was only applicable for bills above ₹1000. To reach that amount, we ordered an extra item, but the manager later refused to apply the discount, saying it would be treated as a separate bill. This was quite disappointing, especially since most cafés and restaurants in the area offer discounts for NITK students even for bills below ₹1000. The staff seemed unprofessional, and the manager’s behavior was quite rude. Overall, the experience was unpleasant — poor hygiene, average food, and unhelpful service. Would not recommend this place. Café Infinity, Dinki Dine, and Suraj International are much better options in terms of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
