Visited Ratnasagar – The Tawa Punjab Restaurant & White Horse Pub & Bar in Manipal, located on DC Office Road, Vidyaratna Nagar. The ambience is absolutely lovely — spacious, clean, and well-designed. It’s a great place to sit back and relax, and the overall vibe of the restaurant and bar is impressive. However, I was quite disappointed with the food quality during my visit. What we ordered: Cream of Tomato Soup – ₹125 The consistency and flavour were not quite right. Tasted bland. Rating: 2/5 Veg Gold Coin (8 pieces) – ₹225 Slightly better in texture but lacked strong seasoning. Rating: 3/5 Fries Overloaded – ₹200 Expected cheesy or flavour-packed fries, but the taste fell flat. Rating: 2/5 Paneer Malai Tikka (8 pieces) – ₹275 Description sounded good, but the actual taste didn’t live up to it. Paneer was soft but lacked depth in flavour. Rating: 3/5 Overall experience: While the ambience was top-notch and staff were polite, the food was unfortunately not up to the mark. None of the vegetarian dishes I tried stood out, and I believe the taste and quality need significant improvement. Might visit again for the pub vibe, but not for the food. Service: 3

We had a fantastic experience at Tawa Punjab Restaurant! From the delicious chicken starters to the flavourful Chinese Hakka noodles and their unique Tawa Punjab special menu — everything was absolutely mouthwatering. Every dish was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. A big shoutout to Mr. Mansoor, the manager, who was extremely friendly and ensured we had a great dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good food and warm hospitality! Service: 4

We had a fantastic dining experience at Tawa Punjab in Manipal! I visited with my husband and our 3-year-old son, and from the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. The ambiance was cozy and family-friendly, and the staff truly treated us like their own — polite, attentive, and always smiling. Now coming to the food — it was simply amazing! Every dish was full of flavor and freshly made, but the highlight of our meal was definitely the Chicken Pot Dhum Tikka — it was absolutely ultimate! So juicy, tender, and packed with smoky goodness — we couldn’t stop eating it! My husband especially loved it, and even our little one enjoyed the milder dishes. It’s rare to find a place that combines such great taste with a warm, homely feel, but Tawa Punjab nailed it. Highly recommended for families, foodies, and anyone who appreciates good hospitality .
