Room is nice and clean but the most important things is that Reception staff need to attend customer service class,specially the night shift staff is very2 rude no manners in answer customer questions replied in very rude manner.we booked 4rooms on 05 Sept,but they cancelled the room without informed us and give the room to others.When we asked why cancelled and released the room to others they answer it with very rude,they just replied yeah we cancelled ,thats is the answer we received,At the night time then we need to search other hotel to accommodate.This is my second bad experience in 3months,last happen on Jun this year,wer the night reception staff very rude to us when we enquired about room air cond that not working properly.and the next day we complained the matter to hotel manager, promised to take action on related staff but I think they will not bother about our complain.So.much to learn on customer service level.

I stayed at Ramrathna Residency recently, drawn by its convenient location just 20 minutes from the Meenakshi Amman Temple, making it a practical base for exploring Madurai. The hotel’s exterior and common areas are impressive—the parking space is ample, and the front desk lobby and reception area feel grand and welcoming, giving a strong first vibe Unfortunately, the positives were overshadowed by significant hygiene issues in the room and bathroom. Upon checking the bed with a wet wipe, I found dirt, and the blankets had visible hair and stains, which was disappointing and concerning. The bathroom also fell short of cleanliness expectations, adding to the overall sense of poor maintenance. Staff professionalism was a mixed bag. The night check-in process was frustrating, with the staff appearing unprofessional which made for a stressful start. However, I must commend the morning receptionist at checkout, who was friendly and courteous. While the hotel has potential with its great location and attractive lobby, significant improvements are needed in room and bathroom hygiene, as well as staff training for consistent professionalism. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to elevate the guest experience.
