Dhokla here is nicely cooked, this is what regular visitors of this restaurant note. Nothing can be better than eating good jalebi. Tea lovers will find it delicious.
The cute staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The fast service shows a high level of quality at Ramji Shyamji Pohewale. Most guests find that prices are average for what you get. The nice atmosphere adds a relaxing feel to a clients' stay at this place. 4.2 is what this spot got from the Google rating system.

Soft and delicious poha, popular place. Really falls in terms of cleanliness and hygiene though. Even the vessels washing was being done in front of us. Good prices and limited seating.

Poha has always been a simple, comforting dish for me, but Ramji Shyamji Pohewale in Nagpur gave me a completely different experience. Their Tarri Poha was unlike anything I’ve had before—bold, spicy, and packed with flavor. The poha itself was soft and well-cooked, but what made it stand out was the tarri—a rich, spicy gravy that added a completely new dimension to the dish. The combination of the mildly spiced poha with the fiery tarri, crispy sev, fresh onions, and a squeeze of lemon made every bite exciting. It was a flavor explosion, very different from the usual poha I have, but I actually enjoyed the change. Since I was there, I also decided to try their Batata Wada. Unfortunately, this didn’t impress me as much. The outer coating was a bit thicker than I prefer, and the filling lacked the kind of punch I was expecting. It wasn’t bad, but compared to the poha, it felt quite average. Maybe I just had high expectations after the amazing Tarri Poha! The place was crowded, a clear sign of its popularity, but the service was quick, and the food was served fresh. Prices were very reasonable, making it a great spot for a budget-friendly yet flavorful breakfast. If you’re in Nagpur, I’d highly recommend trying their Tarri Poha—it’s definitely something different from the usual!
