1/5 – Very Disappointing Experience at Ramees Restaurant, Kollam I recently visited Ramees Restaurant in Kollam and had a very disappointing experience. The food quality was not good, and the service from the staff was extremely poor. The person who took our order did not mention any special dishes, nor did he show any interest in helping us choose. There was nothing special about their grill items either. I ordered half black pepper Al Faham, and even after waiting for more than 30 minutes – which is understandable – the dish arrived not hot and the portion was very small. The chicken was cut into just four tiny pieces, which felt like a trick. The dish cost ₹304 including tax, but it was not at all worth the price. The parotta was also disappointing. It was not hot, the size was smaller than usual, and the price of ₹21 is much higher compared to other restaurants. I also ordered butter chicken, which was just okay and nothing special. Overall, the experience was negative and unsatisfactory, especially considering the high prices. I expected much better from this restaurant and will think twice before visiting again. Shameful disgusting, cheated by the staff. Beware of some staff because they quietly take away food items that you request for parcel. This happened to me today (29th December 2023) when I dined for lunch. Food was great but it was too much and hence asked them to pack. When I reached home to my surprise two packets were missing and those were the expensive ones. See how people in God's own country leave no opportunity to cheat customers.
