• First visit to Ram Shyam and had a very good experience. • Food was delicious – fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. • Portion size was good – felt satisfying and value for money. • Had to wait in line, but they had a proper waiting area with chairs, fan, water, and hand wash station. • Clean and well-managed space – especially impressive after visiting Shakuntala, which was just the opposite. • The difference in hygiene and service between two side-by-side restaurants was huge. • Staff were polite and the service was smooth. • Even though the pricing is slightly on the higher side, it’s totally justified for the quality. Highly recommend Ram Shyam if you’re in Shantiniketan. A proper example of how hospitality and hygiene can be done right. Great food,there thali is awesome,they provide ghee first then other meal with unlimitalion, I had kalta,which is fresh and their mutton jassa was juicy and tender,and chicken duckbunglow was also great,and service person Toton was immense helpfull.. Too much waiting line on Saturday and Sunday. Be prepare to wait 1 hr or go on a weekday.
