I recently visited Rajya Dvaar in Kammanahalli and tried their chole bhature, veg cutlet, vegetable pulao, and ginger tea. The chole bhature was delicious and the highlight of the meal, while the veg cutlet could have been better. The vegetable pulao tasted more like fried rice than a typical pulao, but it was still flavorful however, I found it odd that they charge extra for raita, which is usually served along with pulao, though the raita itself was quite tasty. The ginger tea was refreshing and well made. The ambience is good, the place is clean and well maintained, and overall food quality is nice, though the portion sizes felt a bit less. The disappointing part was the service the server was quite rude and unhelpful. When asked for recommendations, the only response was everything in the menu is good, and when I asked whether a particular rice dish was available, the answer was simply if it’s on the menu, then it’s there. While the food and ambience make it worth a visit, the service experience definitely needs improvement.
