We tried the oratti and mutton fry, but honestly, it wasn't that great. They charged us for a kilogram, but I can't say for sure if we actually got that much since they didn't weigh it in front of us. This place is pretty overrated, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

An unavoidable destination for all non-vegetarians at Thiruvananthapuram. Heard about Rajila Hotel for quite some time. Now only we got an opportunity to explore it fully. Only mutton dishes were available when we went for dinner. Porotta, Oratti, Appam etc are available. Appam is served almost live. Mutton dishes like curry, perattu, fry are available. We tasted all and fry is the best among all. Generally, all varieties are bit spicy, hence, be careful before adding with the breads. Mutton soup is also available. I think to reduce the salt content, they don’t add salt much. Users can add as per their wish. After all, don’t miss the lemon tea. That is very yummy with the mint leaves. First time visit. Heard like this hotel is famous for mutton varieties and the expectations are well met. Mutton Perattu, mutton chaps, and fry were very good, but spice on a bit higher side. Quality was superb, but the quantity was less. Perotta and Appam were also good, soft, and made live. Atmosphere is not that attractive since it's an old building.. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
