The restaurant is quite famous for its excellent food quality and authentic taste. I recently visited Rajasthani Jalpan Grih Evam Bhojanalaya in Rishikesh and was really impressed with my dining experience. This place is a hidden gem located on Haridwar Road that locals seem to love. I tried both their dal bati thali and the standard veg thali during my visit. The flavors were authentic and reminded me of homemade Rajasthani cuisine - rich, well-spiced but not overwhelming. The dal bati in particular was excellent with perfectly baked batis that were crisp outside and soft inside. They served it with a generous amount of ghee that enhanced the flavors wonderfully. What surprised me most was how affordable their meals are despite the generous portions. You definitely get great value for your money here. The restaurant has a simple, traditional atmosphere that adds to the authentic dining experience. The service was prompt even though the place was quite busy, which speaks to their efficiency. If you're in Rishikesh and craving authentic North Indian vegetarian food, this place is definitely worth a visit.
