Pav Bhaji - Rs.80/- Special Tea- Rs.20/- Rajashree Sweets, Rynjah, Shillong Sweets shop (Dairy) $ 16.06.24 Today I had a very long day at the hospital. After 9 hrs I wanted to just drive around & find some good tea. I drove all the way from Jaiaw upto Mawblei then towards Pohkseh but didn't find anything interesting until I decided to stop searching at Rynjah & got down at Rajashree Sweets. This is from the same family as Rajashree Rasoi, next to SBI Laitumkhrah branch, so I had high hopes. I entered inside & ordered a cup of special tea & samosa. The samosas were still being prepared & so I decided on a plate of Pav Bhaji which I saw was available from the poster on the wall. The Pav Bhaji came after 15mins it had 2 buns grilled & greased up in butter served with a portion of bhaji or mashed veggies & ketchup. I took a bite & it was ok. Well it was a dairy in Shillong so can't expect it to be Mumbai standards. But it was decent enough. The veggies had a good taste. However fortunately or unfortunately the veggies were not mashed up properly so wasn't Mumbai quality bhaji but it did add some texture to the dish. The special tea came 5 mins after I finished the pav bhaji. I took a sip & well this was exactly what I was looking for. It had the perfect balance between tea leaves, milk & sugar.
