Idly taste OK but chutney taste was worst ( its full of water) .. for this price chutney can give little thick. More over its not coconut or ground nut chutney .. its made by chana. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: ₹1–200

Today in the Northernmost tip of Bangalore, we happened to see this fantastic place called Raj Tiffin Room who excel in making wonderful Thatte Idlys. I have never had such soft, Earthy, aromatic Thatte Idlys. This place is a synonym for cleanliness, small and clean. A place worth visiting with all the travel from South Bangalore, you get to see the making of Thatte Idlys in plates and not the modern ones. They use Teflon sheets on these plates to make these Idlys. A symbol of an Ideal soft and sponge like structures the Idlys are. Along with Idlys you get a coconut chutney as an accompaniment, a typical Bengaluru style chutney is what I can say. Masala Vada and Medu Vada is there and you can choose any. My preference here would be Medu Vada or Uddina Vade made with urad dal, it's decent. They also have a pulav or rice baath which changes everyday and here ends their menu.
