This Rail coach restaurant is at cantt station. Already by this similar concept restaurant are at Varanasi city and banaras station. It's best thing is ambience. Nice train compartment setup, which looks very nice. Nice light set up in the rail coach. Food is average, it's basically design for travellers, that's why thali is more popular but other foods also available. Service is ok. Menu is all vegetarian. North Indian, south indian and Chinese items are available. Rates are reasonable. Overall can be visited for different experience. Enough space for parking. Never suggest a visit. I ordered a veg biryani but it was pathetic. All veggies were burnt and too oily. Rice was stale and maybe leftovers from the previous night. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

RailCoach Resturant - Indian Railway Varanasi Uptourism South Indian guys searching South Indian Food Coach Experience : The atmosphere is very good inside. You will feel different dining experience when you eat in coach so it is very cool though. Food : we ordered 1.Veg Maharaja Thali - 220.00/- 2.Veg Chinese Combo - 250.00/- 3.Chapati 4 Piece - 40/- 4.Railneer/Water Bottle - 15/- Veg MahaRaj Thali : Butter Paneer - 100grms paneer curry is good Mix Veg - 100grms allu n some mixed veg it's normal. Dal Fry - 100grms Dal fry is good but less salt Chapti - 100grms Chapti is steamed/cooked good Veg pulav - 150grms Veg pulav is tastes good Sweet - 50grms luscious laddu Raita - 80grms it's normal but not like a water. Pickle & Salad - 60grms Onion & Carrot Justify its price Veg Chinese Combo : Fried rice moderated taste. Veg Manchurian good at taste but tastes sweet. Chilly Potato Taste different. Service : Service is very bad at service cuz late serving the food stuff. Payment : They also don't accept payment via cards. So the final conclusion is that this is best resturant If you want good food near station area there is no other options Pakka must try visit RailCoach Resturant & Must try Veg Maharaja Thali. Note : SouthIndians wants to have Southside food don't expect spicy but you can enjoy the having thali here.
