Planning your trip, pay attention to Holy Cross Church and remember to decide where to eat: this restaurant is right aside the mentioned attraction. Come to this place and taste Indian and Vegetarian cuisines. You will be offered such food as perfectly cooked bhaji pav, turkey and paneer, come here and try them. Tasty pudding deserves ordering.
The energetic staff demonstrates a high level of quality at Rahi Shivsagar Restaurant. Cool service is something that visitors note in their reviews. Here you will pay fair prices. It's usually a good idea to try something new, enjoying the cozy atmosphere. But google users rated this place and it didn't achieve a high rating.
We ordered one Pav Bhaji, two Veg Cheese Grilled Sandwiches, and one Tawa Pulav. The Pav Bhaji was just okay, Sandwitch after a few bites, both my daughters complained that it was overly salty. I asked them to try another portion, but the issue remained the same. Meanwhile, my wife started eating the Tawa Pulav but could barely continue after just seven bites. When I tasted it myself, I found the flavor completely off—nothing like a proper Tawa Pulav.
I raised the concern with the waiter, who then called the owner (a lady) to address the issue. However, instead of acknowledging the problem, she reacted very negatively, almost as if we had committed a crime by pointing it out! She insisted that the food was perfectly fine, despite our clear discomfort.
I told her that we were more than willing to pay, but all we expected was decent, edible food. Unfortunately, our experience was completely ruined. In the end, we left after paying ₹840 for a meal that was practically inedible, leaving with nothing but frustration and disappointment.
