Raasa Veedu, located at 9FWW+2XW in Rajapalayam, offers a simple yet inviting escape from the hectic pace of urban life. Open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, this restaurant provides a casual atmosphere that embraces guests without the distraction of modern entertainment such as televisions and urban hotel amenities. Whether you're in search of a cozy lunch or dinner spot, Raasa Veedu's focus on small plates ensures variety, making it conducive for both groups and families with children.
While information about Raasa Veedu is limited, with minimal exposure on popular restaurant directories aside from a basic Google profile, the location is conveniently near the well-regarded MadaSamy Nadar Unavagam. Known for providing an experience that feels homely, visitor feedback has highlighted the decent quality of food available. However, it's noteworthy that reviews are outdated by at least a year, indicating a potential lack of recent feedback or updates directly from the restaurant itself.
For those considering stopping by, it's important to remember that Raasa Veedu offers both dine-in and takeout service options, although the full extent of offerings and menu details remain somewhat unclear. Emphasizing a setting more aligned with escape and simplicity rather than luxury, it retains its charm as a relaxing retreat within the neighborhood.
We (9 friends with their 17 children) had a memorable get together at Raasa veedu. It was like a home away from home. The rooms were comfortable. Food was great. The mutton chukka, minced meat gravy, prawn fry, Sambhar, Idlis and Curd rice were excellent. Children enjoyed the food too. They ran around, played and were very happy in Raasa veedu. A special thanks to the host Mr. Deepak Nataraja moorthy. We appreciate all his efforts to make our stay comfortable. He took us to their Thoppu, chopped the tender coconuts all by himself to quench our thirsts and kept a watch on all the children jumping into the well. We highly recommend a stay at Raasa veedu to enjoy the hospitality and feel pampered. Alumni Girls of CEG, Anna University
