Review – Tiny House Cafe, Indore Tiny House Cafe doesn’t just settle for pastel corners and iced lattes ,every few months, it surprises Indore with a pop-up called Ramen Hour. I happened to visit on one such weekend evening, and naturally, we dived straight into their limited bowls: the Samurai Ramen and the Shogun Ramen. Samurai Ramen. This one comes super bold and spicy Loaded with paprika, mushrooms, paneer, and veggies. A solid pick if you love spice, but we found the broth a bit too intense to finish once the noodles and veggies were gone. It’s the kind of ramen that throws a punch, fun for spice lovers, but not as easy to sip on afterwards. Shogun Ramen. Now this was the real star. Thai-inspired, creamy, and coconut-based. It felt like khaosuey in ramen form. Sweet and spicy in just the right amount, with a broth so good you’ll want to drink it straight after the noodles are gone. Smooth, rich, and very hard to beat. Drinks. To cool off, we paired the ramen with a Peach Iced Tea and an Iced Mocha Latte. The iced tea was light and refreshing. The mocha latte, though, was initially all coffee. Strong and proper but once we added a little sugar, it turned into the perfect sweet spot between coffee and chocolate. Ambience, Service & Fun Factor. In the evening, the café looked warm and well lit up , with a cozy, home like vibe and plenty of photo worthy corners. The place felt cheerful , everyone around us was happily slurping ramen. Despite the weekend crowd, service was super quick; our bowls arrived in under five minutes. And here’s the bonus , they have a solid variety of board games. We played UNO over ramen, and honestly, that made the evening twice as fun. Add to that the little touches chopsticks, cute bowls, proper ramen cutlery and the whole experience felt charmingly put together. Value. During Ramen Hour, every bowl is just ₹200 (usually priced at double). For that quality, speed, and experience, it’s a steal. Definitely check it out at least once , you might just come out a ramen fan. Also note the portion size of the ramen is HUGE and you'll be done for the whole day Verdict. Between Samurai and Shogun, the winner was clear , Shogun steals the show with its creamy Thai-inspired flavors. If you catch Ramen Hour on their calendar, don’t miss it. Go with friends, share a bowl, play a game, and you’ll probably all agree: this is ramen worth waiting for.
