This is the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Basho Veggies, Sangli is all show and no service. The food was terrible, and almost nothing on the menu was available. When we asked about items, the manager just said, “We have a big group today” & “Only one cook is working.” Then why are you even open for other customers? If you can’t serve properly, close the restaurant for outsiders. Don’t waste people’s time and money like this. At 9:30 PM, they told us to wait at least 45 minutes for food. That’s just ridiculous. We were tired, hungry, and still had to sit and wait — for nothing. To make it worse, no one was even there to arrange the tables for our group. Staff saw us standing and did nothing. We had to join the tables ourselves and figure out our own seating. What kind of service is this? The manager was rude, careless, and totally uninterested. The staff looked confused and untrained. No welcome, no apology, no solution — just excuses. The place looks nice from the outside, but inside it’s a complete disaster. Horrible food, pathetic service, and useless management. Don’t go here. Total waste of time, money, and mood. Go anywhere else but NOT Basho Veggies. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
