ROOTS 9 KITCHEN & BAR Visited with a friend, and the experience was great overall! ️ What we ordered: • Tandoori Chicken • Chicken Gravy The Tandoori Chicken was perfectly cooked—juicy, smoky, and full of flavor. Served with fresh salad and chutney that elevated the taste. The Chicken Gravy was rich and satisfying, perfect with naan or rice. The spices were well-balanced. Cost: Around ₹1300 for 2 people – good value for the quality and taste. The ambiance was cozy with a candle-lit setup, great for a relaxed dinner. Staff was polite and service was prompt. Horrible experience! The server put in the tip in the credit card machine himself and charged it. Then he feigned ignorance. They were basically forcing the tip. Then they said it was by mistake. The customer gives the credit card with the understanding and assurance that the amount on the bill is going to be keyed in not some random amount that comes to their mind. They have no right to key in an additional amount without the customer's knowledge. This is the first time I have had such a blatant experience in any restaurant. Never coming here again. I hope the management take notice of what is going on.
