Roots 9 has always been our go-to spot but they clearly don't know how to manage crowds on weekends. We went as a family of 6 but the staff had BAD ATTITUDE, CARELESS WAITERS. One waiter brings food, the other one takes his sweet time to come and serve food and the food goes cold. We had cancelled one of the soups and the guy wasn't ready to understand or refund that we hadn't ordered it. We ended up having to pay for it. The food was undoubtedly really good. The food is the only reason we come here but the attitude of the staff today was a real let down today. We will have to reconsider before coming here from the next time

Horrible experience! The server put in the tip in the credit card machine himself and charged it. Then he feigned ignorance. They were basically forcing the tip. Then they said it was by mistake. The customer gives the credit card with the understanding and assurance that the amount on the bill is going to be keyed in not some random amount that comes to their mind. They have no right to key in an additional amount without the customer's knowledge. This is the first time I have had such a blatant experience in any restaurant. Never coming here again. I hope the management take notice of what is going on.
