RA RA AVIS restaurant exceeded my expectations. The dishes were full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The staff was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful menu, everything was just right. The food tasted fine, but we got a cockroach in our chili chicken. We immediately informed the restaurant and they sent us a replacement meal. The staff at the restaurant should pay attention to food quality and the packaging. Fortunately, we noticed the cockroach. Otherwise, we might have unknowingly served the food to our kids. This is a serious issue on the part of the restaurant. We thought of escalating the issue to the concerned authorities, but since we were traveling the next day, we didn't have the time. Tried chicken biriyani, porotta, and chicken curry from Rara avis Restaurant after seeing a lot of hype online. I had high expectations, but the biriyani didn’t meet them the rice was overcooked and lacked the authentic Thalassery biriyani flavour. It didn’t feel worth the price. However, the porotta and chicken curry were really good soft, tasty, and well-cooked. The restaurant was clean and the staff were polite, but overall I felt a bit disappointed mainly because of the biriyani.
