I never imagined such a beautiful place existed so close to Pune. Rajbaug Farm is located at the foothills of Sinhagad Fort, in a fully private and peaceful location. After taking a turn from the main Sinhagad road, the approach road becomes narrow. One needs to drive slowly and carefully as you will often see tractors, cattle and bullock carts passing by. But once you reach the resort, you will be truly surprised by the overall vibe of the place. The rooms are excellent – very stylish, super clean and well maintained. I didn’t expect to find such good quality at this kind of location. You will even get clean towels and proper toiletries, which is nowadays missing at many places around Pune. This place may feel a bit quiet if you are coming as a single family, unless you combine the visit with nearby sightseeing like Sinhagad Fort. But if you are a group of friends or families, this place is perfect. There is a large open area where you can play cricket, football and other outdoor games. They also have a big common dining and sitting area where everyone can enjoy together – even board games or card games feel more fun here. One of the best things here is the food. Both veg and non-veg dishes are delicious. Their biryani is especially outstanding. They never rush you during meals. Even in the morning, you can enjoy hot tea at 7:30 am without asking twice. I haven’t experienced this level of genuine hospitality at other resorts. The staff is always smiling, polite and calm – they never run behind you or disturb your enjoyment. The nearby teak forest and small water stream make the whole experience even more refreshing and close to nature. Truly a must-visit place if you want to enjoy quality time with friends or a group.

We had a wonderful stay at Rajbaug Farms, nestled right at the base of Sinhagad – a perfect getaway into the lap of nature. The peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and lush greenery made it a refreshing retreat away from the city chaos. The hospitality was top-notch – the staff was warm, attentive, and always eager to help. The food was absolutely delicious, with a homely touch that made every meal satisfying. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with air conditioning, which made the stay comfortable even in the warmer parts of the day. One of the standout features of the property is the large open space, perfect for playing games or simply unwinding outdoors. Whether you’re traveling with family or a group of friends, the ambiance is ideal for both relaxation and fun. However, one concern dampened an otherwise perfect experience. The owner invited the next batch of guests before our checkout time without informing us. This unexpected overlap made us feel rushed and disrupted the smooth end to our stay. Clear communication about guest transitions would help improve the overall experience for future visitors. Overall, Rajbaug Farms is a lovely place to unwind close to nature with excellent hospitality and food. Just a bit more attention to guest privacy and scheduling would make it perfect.
