The Quick Wok is located in lane next to Popular Vaishali hotel and serves Chinese Asian and Thai cuisines. This is their 3rd outlet; the other two are located at Baner Pashan link Road and Xion Mall Hinjewadi. The restaurant started their operations around Jan 18 and has a seating capacity of around 30 pax. He décor of this place is simple yet elegant.
Lemon Coriander (Chicken) [Rs 100]: The soup had lots of veggies and finely minced boiled chicken pieces in it. It was medium thick in consistency. It was superb in taste #Highlyrecommended.
Chicken Manchow [Rs 100]: The soup was perfect for my palate. It was hot and spicy in taste with veggies and minced chicken in it. The crispy dry noodles served with it were also nicely done. The soup was not too thick, may be they didn’t use any corn flour in it to make it thick. #Musthave
Prawns Starter [Rs 260]: This dish was a part of customized starters that they offers. There is a option of 10 different sauces which can be clubbed with Paneer, Egg, Chicken, Fish(Basa), and Prawns. It was prepared in Pepper BBQ and Schezwan Sauce, the prawns were cooked to perfect and the sauce was medium spicy and good in taste. #Recommended.
Chicken Dimsums [Rs 100]: The coating was slightly thick than usual however the filling was flavorful and was good in taste. The dip which was served along with it was also well done.
Egg in Mangolian & Yellow Bean Sauce [Rs 200]: Egg omlette topped with Mangolian and Yellow bean sauce was superb on presentation level, the egg omlette was done to perfection but the sauce was slightly salty for my taste buds. The quantity of this dish is really good and sufficient for 2 people.
Wok Box: It is a customized meal box where you can choose options right from the base till garnish. They have two options in it, mini meal and the regular, mini meal is perfect for a single person and regular would be sufficient for 2 people. I opted for a chicken wox box with yellow bean & BBQ sauce with rice base, It was superb in taste and the sauces were truly flavorful. #Highlyrecommended
Prawns Khowsuey [Rs 290]: Coconut based Burmese curry with exotic vegetables and prawns with garlic hakka noodle was excellent in taste, the curry was extremely well done with good quantity of prawns in it and the presentation of this dish was also superb. The Qty of this dish is also good and is sufficient for 2. Indeed a #Musthave
Lemon Ice Tea [Rs 60]: It was not too sweet and was refreshing, superb in taste! #Highlyrecommended
Overall: Service was quick and restaurant was hygienic. All sauces used are prepared in house and the ingredients used were fresh. Portion size is sufficient for 2 people and pricing is reasonable. This place is definitely a VFM. Parking can be done on the main FC Road or in the lane. Thanks a lot Team Quick Wok for hosting us.
