I recently had the pleasure of dining at Queens Pod, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of magical. The architecture and interior of the restaurant are out of this world! Never have I encountered such a beautifully designed space. The exteriors are equally stunning, with every detail carefully crafted. The use of bamboo throughout the design is not only visually striking but also speaks to sustainability. The interiors are filled with lush plants, adding to the natural and serene vibe. A unique touch that I absolutely loved was the fish swimming freely under the flooring — a modern, creative addition that gave the place an even more contemporary feel. Though it’s situated a bit outside of Gangtok, it’s absolutely worth the visit if you're in Sikkim. The location is quiet, peaceful, and the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The live singer was another highlight. While I forgot to ask his name, his performance was stellar — he sings so beautifully and really adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. The staff here is incredibly warm and welcoming, with everyone greeting you with a smile, which really makes you feel at home. Now, let's talk about the food. I had the Virgin Pina Colada, Sweet Chilli Potato, Butter Naan, Paneer Changezi (which was a chef's special), and Purple Lime. Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The food was absolutely scrumptious, leaving me wanting more. I’d like to give a special shoutout to the amazing service provided by Babita and Dhabahadur Thapa — they truly made the experience even more memorable. I can’t wait to return to Queens Pod if I’m ever in Sikkim again. It’s a truly amazing place to dine in, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! This restaurant is a gem! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting! The food was outstanding, with every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I particularly enjoyed the “Asian shiitake mushroom” and “afghani kabeb” . The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making our dining experience truly memorable also you don’t have to look at the staff if you need their attention there’s this small calling box where you can press and get their attention, quite impressive !!!! The restaurant has a warm, beautiful and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family. The soft lighting and comfortable seating made it a great place to unwind.
