A cube with good corners—just a few sides to smooth out. Dropped into Qube Cafe recently, lured by its quiet setup and a hunger that demanded deep-fried comfort food. The experience? Let’s just say—not bad, but not quite cube-root-of-awesome either. Let’s start with the good stuff: the ambience here hits the mark. Cozy, thoughtfully done, and if you're the type who likes lounging with a board game and pretending time doesn’t exist—this is your turf. I played a round of Scrabble while waiting, which turned out to be both a clever distraction and the emotional support I needed between slow service and food that ranged from decent to eh. Onion rings? Surprisingly good—crispy, golden, and satisfying. French fries? Acceptable—nothing wrong, but nothing to write poems about. The samosa? Sadly, the weakest link. It had the crunch, but the stuffing felt like it forgot its purpose in life. Now, about the service—it was... leisurely. Each item took its sweet time to arrive, like they were personally being coached in mindfulness before reaching the table. The ambience and food at this cafe is very good. Staff is very courteous especially Mr Aluang is very polite and attentive! Nice place to come chill or work! Kudos to the staff!!
