While I always liked the food at Punjab Grill, this time our experience was particularly not at all good. We booked via Swiggy dine out which said free pan shots but they were never offered to us. Secondly, the person who took our order sounded so mad at something and was just impatient and simply rude. Then when the food arrived, the rotis were completely burnt and we had to get them changed. It just felt like nobody wanted to attend to the table at all for some reason. And finally when the bill arrived, we politely asked them to remove the service charge as it was almost 200 ( and it’s illegal now doesn’t matter if you name it staff contribution or whatever fancy name they can think of ) and that person looked at me like I asked them to show me their account statement or something and rudely said service was good na ( not a question, a statement ) and he did remove the charge and while I was paying he just stood over my head until I paid and gave me the weirdest look when I was keeping the tip beneath the bill. Overall, a not at all pleasant experience and we are never going back there no matter the location. Food is very good . Service is a bit slow .. Ambience is good in Punjab grill Janpath New Delhi. Except delay in service .. everything is good - Food & ambience is good and parking space also available - paid parking.
