Preethi Canteen is at Birur, on the Bangalore Shivamogga Highway towards Shivamogga, . About 200 meters from Birur Circle. It's no frills Vegetarian Restaurant. Quick service. We had ordered Butter Masala Dosa, Mandakki Oggarane, Idly Wada and a special Tea. Butter Masala Dosa was served hot , it was crispy and tasty. Chutney was tasty , and paired nicely with Dosa. . Aloo Sabji ( Palya) was OK. It was having bland taste. Mandakki ( Puffed Rice,) Oggarane ( Usuli or Oggane or Susala ) ,served with Chutney was OK. It was dry , slight water retention required to make it better. Needed little Salt to make tasty. Idly Wada was excellent and tasty. Idly soft , tasted good with Chutney and Sambar. Wada was good tasted good with Both Chutney and Sambar. Special Tea was good. Suggestion for improvement: House Keeping in Restaurant Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Butter Masala Dosa, Idly Vada, Benne Masala Dosa
