Hop, skip and jump from my house is Preetam. It has been in existence for as long as I remember. Initially, I wouldn't go there cos of the same reason. But now, I am old enough and I don't really mind, but I still don't go there as I have another hangout spot which I prefer. We order food from here everytime we friends (from the society) sit for a few drinks. And that is where Preetam is good. Their food is yummy. We usually order the staple Dal Rice or Dal Khichdi, sometime we order sabji and roti and they are good. The venue is not suitable to go with family. Go with your friends and it will be fun. They have a very tiny TV on which they screen matches. The indoor and outdoor sections are very dimly lit and the AC section (indoor) is either super cold or super hot. Not a fancy place but it has been a neighborhood favorite for a lot. And if its in existence for so long, something is working in it's favor. Go there for a few gulps. You may not love it, but you won't hate it. Price per person: ₹800–1,000
