Tried Fish Finger, Fish 65, Crab Lollipop, and Crab Fried Rice – each dish was bursting with flavor and well-prepared, especially the crab items which stood out. The ambience is quite basic, nothing fancy, but clean. Service was a little slow, though the staff made up for it with their friendliness and helpful attitude. I'd been to this place after reading all the great reviews and Yes , their food and service proved those reviews right. Big fan of their Crab gravy and Chilli prawns. Their prawn soup, chicken tava fry was amazing!! Also the restaurant manager/ owner seemed really friendly and generous. Loved his attitude towards his customers. Felt homely!!! Must visit food spot when in Pondicherry!!! Food & service is great at Prawn and Crab. We had crab masala, prawn 65, roti & rice. The prawn 65 was so good, we ordered it twice! They didn’t have mud crabs which was a shame. We love blue swimmers too which were teeny tiny but tasty. The masala was scrumptious! The restaurant itself is old, tired and poorly maintained but the food and service make up for that. We spent about INR850 for a lovely meal.
