Amazing pure veg restaurant! We were in search of a place for breakfast while stopping over in Chitradurga city, and were delighted to chance upon Prasadam which was open at 7.30am. The place is spacious with standing tables downstairs and seated dining tables upstairs. The staff are warm and welcoming and were quick with service, ready to explain the different options on the menu available. We tried their mendu vada, idli, masala dosa, gobi 65, mushroom 65, South Indian meal (it’s like a veg thali), honey chilly potato and their special sweet dish Holige (similar to puran poli with a banana milky sweet dip on the side). I must say that every dish was super delicious and had my young kiddos devouring it without a fuss Their filter coffee and chai is one of the best we’ve tasted and oh so satisfying. A few car parking spots are available in front of the sweet shop next door with staff ready to guide you and help block traffic while you park as it’s situated at quite a busy junction. We were glad to have had an early breakfast, lunch and dinner here as the place quickly filled up.
