I visited this place purely out of curiosity and hype surrounding their Batata Wada, and I must say—it does live up to a unique kind of expectation. Priced at ₹60, you are served two medium-sized Batata Wadas that are surprisingly light yet satisfying. What truly makes it different from the standard versions found at other joints is the outer layer—the besan (gram flour) coating is incredibly thin, almost like a crispy sheet wrapping the potato mix. The inner filling of the batata is where the magic lies. Unlike the spicy, garlicky version common in most Puneri wadas, this one had a mildly spiced, soft yet structured texture, giving a wholesome homemade feel. At one point, it even reminded me of a Sabudana Wada due to its delicate flavor profile and crispy bite—definitely unexpected but enjoyable.
