if you are in Thirumala or nearby places, you may try tasty Kerala fish curry meals for about Rs 90.. you can have it inside the shop or take a parcel home.. The woman who runs this small shop is well behaved and an elderly lady, keeps the shop clean and serves hygiene food.. mother like taste and friendly behaviour makes you feel at home.. there are 2 more friendly women and a gentle man to help her during busy lunch hours.. Red rice, tapioca (kappa/kizhang), vegetable thoran (upperi/poriyal), a pickle, pulisseri/morukari(cooked buttermilk), fish curry with a medium sized piece (mostly tuna fish) and a small fry piece of fish is what you get for meals.. and.. if it's a hot day and want to cool your stomach, then you may try the nostalgic home speciality.. ''pazhankanji', served in traditional terracotta chatti.. bikers get to keep their vehicles in front of the shop.. but for four wheelers, it's slightly difficult to park the vehicles.. you may find space on roadside path.. it's also worth parking at distance and walking back to the shop to have tasty meals.. the location is on Thirumala - Valiyavila road.. just before the petrol pump while riding down from thirumala junction.. Hotel City Palace and Kunnil super markets are two main landmarks after this shop.. enjoy your kerala meals@thirumala.. !!
