    After seeing some vlogs, I took my family and my elderly mother to Poonthanam Restaurant, expecting a nice lunch. But it was very disappointing. The Normal /special Sadhya did not even have basic items like banana chips, sarkara upperi, or olan/ishtu. The Special Sadhya also had nothing special about it. Service was extremely poor — they served the thali plate with curries first, and we had to remind them multiple times just to get rice. The biggest issue is that vloggers are shown a completely different treatment: welcome drinks, special dishes, and extra attention. Regular customers get none of that. It feels misleading and unfair. Definitely not worth the hype, especially when visiting with a senior citizen , would not recommend. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400
