Being a part of fox in the field has only been bad for ponnusamys brand because the people catering to customers as part of fox in the field know nothing about the South Indian menu, how to serve them nor are most of the dishes available. We reserved a table on Independence Day which was accepted but not honored. When we went there fox in the field staff mentioned ponnusamy was closed for the day and that we could either order from fox in the field’s other menu or pick from a handful of ponnusamy dishes (likely leftovers from the day before) as all other ponnusamy items were “sold out” (we were the first customers of the day and there was no one else). That was the last time I would expect anything decent out of the ponnusamy here. They should start a stand alone restaurant if they’re serious about this location. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Ponnnusamy Hotel - Whitefield If you are at Whitefield or at Forum Shantiniketan Mall you must not miss this traditional food restaurant. It not only serves rich food but also has great drinks too. With the traditional food you can enjoy the shopping ️ at this mall. My Favourites were: Vanjiram Meen Varuval - Fresh sliced seer fish well marinated in the traditional Chettinad spices and then well fried in the tava. My all time favourite with Beer Mutton Sukka - this is my second love at this traditional restaurant. It’s the boneless goat meat cubes spiced with the hand pounded masala, pepper and fried with curry leaves in kadai. Goes well with and . Ponnnusamy Special Mutton Biryani - The flavourful medium spiced Biryani Dum cooked with Basmati Rice , Goat meat along with the freshly hand pounded Chettinad spices and the aromatic herbs . This is their signature dish. Now hardly had place for dessert but I don’t miss them. Experienced the miniature sweetness of Angoori Gulab Jamuns, it was a delightful variation of the dish. These bite-sized sweet treats were fascinating.
