Ponjikkara Cozinha is undoubtedly one of the best spots in Kochi for an authentic Kerala meal. The traditional meals here are tasty, satisfying and reasonably priced at around ₹99. But there's a catch-if you stick to just the basic meals you'll get your money's worth However, if you order the side dishes, especially the fish options and you might find yourself questioning whether it was worth the spend. The Neymeen fry, Thirutha Thengapal curry and prawns fry are all delicious and worth trying but they come at a very high price. The portion sizes don’t quite justify the hefty prices which could make you think twice before coming back here again for anything more than the standard meal. No wonder regulars advise sticking to the meals and avoiding the addons unless you’re prepared to spend that much. On the plus side, the restaurant is spacious, with enough parking and seating to accommodate over 100 people i guess. They even have a separate air conditioned section though it can get quite busy during lunch hours with regulars who work nearby. Overall, Ponjikkara Cozinha is a solid choice for a Kerala meal especially if you’re traveling in a group. But if you're planning to order anything beyond the Normal meals, be prepared to pay a hefty price or save the side dishes for a special treat if you're feeling generous (or just happen to be rich). We planned to go for meals.... But they give us biriyani to sale that out......it was very disgusting... Nd i havent had this type of biriyani b4.....dnt go for thissss.....
