Worst food of my life, we ordered pot biryani and seriously that was the worst biryani of my life. Even normal biryani is tasteless. Zero in service and never go if you need good food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Just after arriving in Pondicherry, we (a cranky and hungry pack of 5) waded in at Pondy Eats around 4 pm: neither lunch nor dinner time. Yet, the woman welcomed us with a nice and warm smile. Notwithstanding the communication issues (we spoke only English, she mostly Tamil) we had a great meal. The dishes were lip smackingly tasty and very reasonably priced. So on our last evening in Pondicherry, we ordered food again. The woman looked somewhat overwhelmed and overworked and had material left for only paranthas, but worked at full speed to get a delicious pile of them ready. All in all, a really great place that should not be missed, but the service could be improved a small bit, e.g. by having another cook/helper in the kitchen.
