Excellent Food and Terrible Service. Podi has a beautiful menu and serves mouth smacking food that tempts patrons like me to dine in at the restaurant frequently, but the lethargic and painfully ignorant service offered by the staff puts me, my friends and family off. I’ve been at the restaurant more than 20 times, and have been going since the day of its opening but nothing has changed. They don’t notice and don’t even give menu until asked, they keep forgetting the order, keep making mistakes if you request for customisation such as oil instead of ghee, or Swaminarayan filling or Jain option. They are forgetful and take really long to get the order. Not even once have I gone there and received service where they didn’t forget the order, or made mistakes or took super long. The people are sweet but clueless. Looks like they hire and don’t train anyone at all. They are especially poorer at managing the order of a family of any more than 3 people. High time they work on their staff, improve processes to simply hire more and trained people. To conclude, the food is amazing and the restaurant should not suffer because of incompetence. I have ordered 2nd time, and it's always well packed in a beautiful box, container leads are loose due to paper material but it's fabulous to see and taste is amazing! I just loved it!

Amazing South Indian experience. The vibe and the decor, along with cutlery and everything, just screams authentic and warm. The food is something else, though. It is so good. The Thate Idli was amazing. We even double ordered it. The Ghee podi dosa was also really nice. The mysore Masala Street style was good, but the Rava Masala was my personal favorite. The sambar and the chutneys were all delectable. We also had the Tamarind rice, which was surely a must try. Finally, my favorite part of the visit was the Filter Coffee Tiramisu. Omg it was amazing!!! The presentation was really cute, and though it had a small portion, it was satisfying and plain delicious. Must try for sure, don't miss it. Must visit cafe.
