Over expensive food just in name of ambience. No swaminarayan food options available. No cheese options for kids ... Not worth the hype.. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
The food was good with a decent presentation but had the worst experience with the service. The staff also don’t care enough about their customers at all. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Breakfast
Podi Cafe served us non-Jain sambar even though we asked for Jain sambar. An apology was given by the service person there - Eddie and also a feedback form for the owner. But what’s the point, the whole thing was very insincere. You spend a lot of money and time for a restaurant and they do not have basic processes in place for people’s religious beliefs. This place is not for people who do not eat onion and garlic. You cannot trust them to respect you enough to have these processes. The waiter who served our table and gave us the sambar just shrugged her shoulders when the manager told her about her mistake. The attitude of the staff shows the attitude of the owners for me. Writing this while feeling disappointed and severely violated. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian options: We were served Non-Jain sambar even though we asked for Jain sambar. Both the sambars (the first “Jain” one and refill actual Jain one) tasted the same so didn’t realise the difference. An apology was given but what’s the point.
