Order from this restaurant only if you have great patience – Disappointed with the service at Pizza Ricotta, Lulu Mall Trivandrum (20-10-2025) I had a very disappointing experience at Pizza Ricotta, Lulu Mall Trivandrum. I placed an order for my daughter at 7:41 PM (Order No. 14) when there wasn’t much crowd. The lady at the billing counter mentioned the food would be ready in 15 minutes, and I agreed. Meanwhile, my wife ordered food for us from another restaurant, and we finished our meal there — but the buzzer to collect the order didn’t vibrate. After about 20 minutes (8:00 PM), I enquired about our order and was told it would be ready in “5 minutes.” Again, around 8:10 PM, my wife checked, and the same response was given. Shockingly, we noticed they were delivering Order No. 15, while ours (14) was still pending! When we requested to cancel the order, they refused. After 40 minutes, when I checked again, the staff said they were “packing the food.” But by then, seeing their attitude and complete lack of concern, we didn’t feel comfortable giving that food to our daughter. We returned the buzzer and said the delay could have been informed at the time of placing the order or when we enquired about the order after 20 minutes. The restaurant people never said a sorry for the delay or when we returned the food without demanding the refund. It’s really disappointing that a reputed outlet couldn’t manage a simple order properly or communicate delays honestly. Please order from this restaurant only if you have a lot of patience. I have never in my life waited 40 minutes for a pizza, especially when promised in 15 minutes. A simple “sorry” or honest update would have made a huge difference.
