Good, but didn’t live up to the Hyderabadi biryani hype I had the Zafrani Mutton Biryani at Pista House. The biryani rice was decent but slightly on the harder side. The mutton, though, was incredibly flavourful — definitely the highlight of the dish. That said, I was hoping Hyderabadi biryani would blow my mind, but surprisingly, I’ve had better biryanis in Bangalore, which I genuinely didn’t expect. I also tried the Lahane ka Shorba (mutton bone soup), which reminded me of Ukadicha Mutton Rassa but slightly less intense in flavor. What made it stand out was the addition of caramelised fried onions, which added a smoky, burnt-sweet depth to the shorba. I really liked this one — rich, comforting, and full of character.
