Pind punjab is the best effort to be like the Pind Baluchi . The owners have tried best to copy the theme of the original place.
Food was not bad but was not good either .I ordered masala chicken , butter chicken , malai tikka , panner tikka and tandori roti . Butter chicken was bad pieces of chicken were not soft and not even properly chopped , gravy was blunt and tasted a bit odd to me, whereas masla chicken was to oily and acidic . On the other hand tikkas were good and breads were also soft and fresh .
Ambience is really good it is open restaurant with a really good punjabi theme which is really good.
In terms of pricing it is a medium price ranged dhaba .
The restaurant is really good for parties and family day outs. Located in a peaceful area and lots of garden space to play games and have fun. Starters are good and I would recommend crunchy corn and the main course is average. Apart from that this place is an overall good deal.
Food 5/5
Cost 3.5/5
Ambiance 4/5
Staff 4/5
So its like an adventure trip to find this place. The road leading to this dhaba is broken. And most families wouldn't like to go for a dinner at this place as the whole path leading to this place remains dark only a couple of lights are there.
Its an open air dhaba with many sitting options but the chairs are not comfortable.
Now talking about the food, taste is good, they made it spicy on my request. Amount is nominal as one would expect according to the rate. Many food items mentioned in the menu are not available so its like they make us eat what they want!
Staff is good, fast and trained but not well trained. When asked about a particular dish the attendant keeps thinking about 5 minutes and then would reply nothing.
This particular dhaba as like other not classy mid range is pocket friendly.
Also for small family gatherings, get together parties and all that stuff its a nice place. Buffet service is available for that.
Overall it was a good experience for me here. But strictly for occasional parties and not so frequent dinner/lunch programs this place is not recommended.
