I found a RUBBER BAND in my food, which is highly concerning and unacceptable. This experience has not only ruined my meal but also raised serious health and safety issues. I expect immediate action to address this matter and prevent such incidents in the future.

No croutons sent with tomato soup. Minestrone soup and tomato soup tasted exactly the same. Terrible experience

The Claridges in the recent years has been going through an overhaul. A few years prior had been there for an event and was not impressed with the food , but the service , class and old world charm had always been there. Now however in the recent past few months have been to claridges 4 times for different events and dining and all the times have been spectacular.

This time we went for a family dinner to Pickwick's Claridges to celebrate my parents 25th Anniversary. Some of our guest's weren't there when we originally celebrated so this was our treat to them. Incidentally there was a launch (more like relaunch) of their bar called Aura the Vodka Bar that evening. Our reservation was for 8:30 and we had the corner table with the highest capacity of seating just waiting for us there. The interiors are super fresh now with that classic grand feeling aswell. The roof of the restaurant has a painting of the worldmap and the corners have a baroque finishing to it. There are these huge pillars with a nice white and shiny gold finish and the walls of the bar area and most of the restaurant is wood. The remaining wall of the restaurant is mostly leather with paintings related to the book Pickwick Papers or glass , which overlooks the lush gardens. After being seated we were greeted by Mayang who was our server for the day and he handed us all the menus and also clicked pictures for us.
