Picolo Roma has left me speechless. 4 of us went for dinner here, I ordered stake, and a drink, first of all i could see my drink ready n laying there in the bar for 10 mins atleast, before I went and took it myself but you know its okay i didnt mind that it can happen due to less staff. Then upon waiting for 40 mins for my order i asked them about it and they said “stake takes time to prepare, its getting ready”, 40 mins turned into 1hr, I asked them and they said coming right now, then 1hr turned into almost 1.5hrs, i asked them what happened, they said they dropped it on the floor so they had to make it again.. then finally it arrived and the mashed potatoes made me barf and the stake was RAW!! AFTER WAITING FOR 1.5hrs THEY SERVED ME RAW STAKE!!! I came all the way from Mandrem to have dinner and they didnt even give me an option to eat somewhere else, they made me wait so long that there were no other places open to eat from, I HAD TO EAT MAGGIE AT HOME -.- . PICOLO I JUST WISH U HAD INFORMED ME ABOUT THE DELAYS SO THAT I ATLEAST HAD THE OPTION TO EAT DINNER SOMEWHERE ELSE. PEOPLE!! If youve read this far there are far better Italian places in Goa to eat from. Go to Due Amici and Luna’s Ristorante instead. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I recently visited Piccola Roma Pizza in Vagator, and it’s safe to say — this place is a total hidden gem. The highlight? Watching my chicken pizza being made from scratch. The dough was hand-stretched, the toppings laid with care, and the whole thing slid into a wood-fired oven right in front of me. That crispy, smoky crust? Absolute perfection. I tried both the Diavola Pizza and Chicken Pepperoni Pizza — both full of bold, balanced flavors and top-quality ingredients. Moving on to the main course, the Seafood Risotto (Alla Pescatora) was creamy, comforting, and generously loaded with fresh seafood — not an easy thing to find in Goa at this level. The Pesto Fettuccine with Chicken (Pollo Affumicato Pesto) was another standout — fresh pasta, rich pesto, and beautifully cooked chicken. Their mocktail menu also deserves a shoutout. I tried the Tricolor Twist and Berry Blush — both super refreshing, well-balanced, and a perfect contrast to the rich mains. Now for dessert — and yes, leave room for it! The Tiramisu was light, creamy, and just the right amount of indulgent. The Churros with Chocolate were warm, crisp on the outside, soft inside, and came with a rich chocolate dip that was just heavenly. The vibe of the place is relaxed and intimate — a mix of rustic and contemporary, with a small bar counter that adds charm without trying too hard. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food. Whether you’re a local or just visiting North Goa, Piccola Roma Pizza is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian food done right. Go for the pizza — but stay for the pasta, mocktails, desserts, and the amazing vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch
