Persian Qureshi Mandi is located in Ukkadam, right opposite to Lake View, and offers a good ambience for Mandi lovers. We ordered several varieties including Alfam Mandi, Jallikattu Mandi, and Alfam Pepper Mandi. The chicken pieces were cooked perfectly and packed with flavour—especially the Alfam, which was absolutely delicious and a must-try for anyone visiting here. However, the rice was a letdown. The taste was quite average and resembled paruppu sadham (dal rice), which didn’t match the richness of the meat. So if you're planning to visit, it's better to focus on ordering the chicken varieties separately rather than going for the full mandi plate. For dessert, we tried the Kunafa Cheese, and it was truly a highlight. The portion was generous enough to be shared among four people, and the taste was rich and satisfying—sweet, cheesy, and well-balanced. Overall, a great place to try flavorful chicken varieties and desserts, but there's room for improvement in the rice quality.
