Have a nice time here and share perfectly cooked biryani, fried chicken and raita with your friends. At this restaurant, you can order food as a takeaway. The efficient staff meets you at Periyathai Restaurant all year round. Prompt service is something that guests note in their comments. When inside, the atmosphere is cool. Had the mutton biryani combo just now (literally 5 mins back) and couldn’t resist posting this. Honestly, it was bland — felt more like boiled rice with mutton and a few brown bits thrown in. No real salt, no spice kick. I even asked the lady at the counter if they had changed the chef, but she just looked puzzled and said she didn’t get me . Thing is, I had shortlisted this place after trying out Aasife, Rayalseema and a couple others but now I’d say don’t waste time exploring here. Just stick with Aasife or Rayalseema — they’re miles better. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

I had a very disappointing experience at Periyathai Restaurant today. The lady and the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. I simply asked a question, and one of the staff members handed me the item and said, “If you like it, eat it, or just go away from here.” That’s not how any customer should be treated. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. I do not recommend this place at all — not for the food, and definitely not for the service. Very poor attitude towards customers. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
