Very very pathetic restaurant "periyar". Went with colleagues for a lunch. Ordered 3-4 non veg items and single veg item for 2 vegetarians in the group which includes myself. Veg. meloni which costs around 400 came to the table. Terrifically in the dish we found around 5 number of plastic threads. Red coloured plastic threads in the dish the floor manager Mr. Philip offered a change for the dish. They couldnt make the same dish again and gave us a terrible paneer curry in exchange, which we never wanted. He himself decided and gave a dish without even asking us our choice of dish. I don't wish to express my anger more. Very very pathetic restaurant. Anyone who wishes to eat good food please please avoid this place. NB: Gokulam park is no more the same. Had bitter experiences during past 2 visits. Very very poor. Zero stars for gokulam parks periyar restaurant. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹600–800 Vegetarian options: Please avoid having food (at least vegetarian options) from this restaurant

I went with my family. The Food was good Service was good too. It self service. It was my first time there, and the staff behaviour was good and polite. A special note even the security guards in car parking area was very much supportive. Atmosphere was an family type restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We dined at Periyar for lunch recently. We chose à la carte instead of the buffet. For five people, the bill came between 2k-3k. The food was really good. We also received some complimentary veggies at the start & fruits at the end. Recommending the tandoori chicken, chilly chicken, veg hakka noodles. The service was also excellent. The staff was helpful in receiving our orders and helped with our needs. They also helped to charge my phone. In the beginning itself they mentioned the food will take about 15 mins but they served it as soon as it was ready. Even when some orders took a little more time, it was communicated to us, which was perfect! Anyway, thank you for the wonderful experience. We spent almost one hour there talking and enjoying the food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Veg Soup
